Lead Enterprise Infrastructure Operations and Modernization

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and scalable technology services across corporate, cloud, data center, and operational environments.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a technology professional who enjoys building strong teams, driving operational excellence, and influencing infrastructure strategy. You will oversee enterprise infrastructure operations while supporting modernization initiatives across cloud, networking, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and collaboration platforms.

The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with deep technical expertise and the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.

What You'll Do

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure engineers and administrators across multiple technical disciplines.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service.
  • Manage performance, staffing, career development, and team priorities.
  • Provide coaching and technical guidance while supporting day-to-day operational needs.

Own Infrastructure Operations

  • Oversee enterprise infrastructure services including servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms, virtualization, databases, collaboration systems, and backup solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, reliability, and security across infrastructure environments.
  • Manage critical incidents, escalations, and service interruptions while driving timely resolution.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain and improve technology operations.

Drive Technology Strategy and Modernization

  • Execute infrastructure roadmap initiatives, including lifecycle management, capacity planning, and platform modernization.
  • Implement technology standards and best practices that improve scalability, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the adoption of emerging technologies and automation capabilities.

Strengthen Business Continuity and Security

  • Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Ensure infrastructure systems meet recovery objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, and continuous improvement of recovery capabilities.

Support Enterprise and Field Connectivity

  • Manage infrastructure and networking solutions supporting corporate locations and remote operational sites.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain reliable connectivity and performance.
  • Support network monitoring, segmentation, and secure access initiatives.

Governance, Compliance and Vendor Management

  • Support compliance with internal controls, security standards, and audit requirements.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and technology investment planning.
  • Manage vendor relationships and provide technical guidance during renewals, evaluations, and solution implementations.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Establish and track key infrastructure performance metrics.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Explore AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies that can improve operational efficiency and team productivity.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, cloud, or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of people leadership or management experience.
  • Proven experience leading infrastructure operations in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience balancing strategic initiatives with operational responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting operational technology (OT) or industrial networking environments.
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar technologies.
